Code Developers Workshop 1

Thursday 27th July 2017

 11:00 am

Exploration Lab 2, Exeter University

Description and Aim

The 1st CCP-WSI Code Developers Workshop will provide a forum for computer modelling discussions relevant to a broad range of Wave-Structure-Interaction (WSI) challenges. The Workshop will bring together computer scientists and CFD engineers to provide a focus for software development and code rationalisation with the ultimate goal of developing a framework for innovation and development of strategic software for WSI applications. The Workshop will consist of a number of presentations from invited speakers, to highlight the state-of-the-art in WSI simulations, and group ‘break-out’ sessions to focus the community effort on the key challenges of WSI software development.

The Workshop will be held on the 27th July 2017 at the University of Exeter, UK, as part of the Community Day sessions of the 12th OpenFOAM Workshop.

Registration

Attendance at the 1st CCP-WSI Code Developers Workshop is free, but spaces will be limited. If you would like to register for the event, please email Dr Edward Ransley directly. Registration for the OpenFOAM Workshop has now closed, however, if you would still like to attend the Workshop (incl. access to all Community Day activities) please contact Prof Gavin Tabor directly.
